Abstract submission

 

Authors of abstracts selected will be informed by 31 May 2017 and must register for the conference by 11 June 2017 (after this date, abstracts of non-registered presenting authors will be withdrawn from the programme).

INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS

ORAL SESSIONS: A PC will be available for presentations in the conference rooms. Presenters are invited to upload their presentation well in advance, preferably before the beginning of the work of the morning or the afternoon sessions. If your presentation has special features (videos, etc.) please advise the Secretariat at least 4 hours before the start of your session. Speakers are kindly requested to stay within the allotted time; chairpersons have been instructed to keep all speakers to the time assigned.


POSTER SESSIONS: Poster size max width 80 cm x height 200 cm. Presenters are requested to stand by their poster(s) during the poster session.
Set up and removal times: Posters must be hung on the day of the session only, before the morning sessions, and must be removed at the end of the same day. The Organizing Secretariat will not be held responsible for posters that have not been removed. Tape will be provided in the poster area.

 

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION IS NOW CLOSED. 

Abstracts for invited contributions, oral presentations and posters must be submitted in English through the Conference website. The maximum length allowed for an abstract is 2,500 characters including blank steps and a maximum of one or two references.

Deadline for abstract submission is 10 May 2017.

In order to make the abstract as informative as possible, please include a brief statement of the background and the purpose of the study, the methods used, the results observed, a short discussion and the conclusions based upon the results. Only original, unpublished data should be reported. It is inadequate to state "The results will be discussed" or "The data will be presented". You may subtitle the paragraphs in the following order: Background, Aim of the study, Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusions.

The authors' professional position or academic degrees are not to be included in the abstract. Only a brief acknowledgement of grant support may be added. Standard abbreviations should be employed in the text. Special or unusual abbreviations should be in parentheses, after the full wording at the first time they appear in the body of the text.

Each registered author may submit, as the presenting author, no more than two abstracts.

Abstracts submitted for oral contribution and/or poster will be selected by expert reviewers. Authors should indicate their preferred presentation format by selecting the appropriate option in the submission form. Presenters will be informed about the time of their session upon acceptance notification.

Accepted abstracts will be printed and distributed to registered participants and will be made also available for them on the web site, in electronic format. It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract. Any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific information will be reproduced as typed by the author (see Abstract example format).

 

To sumbit an abstract you must first get an account for the conference website  and the access the "Abstract sumbission" page. Registration to the website must be done only once. The account will allow access to registration to the conference, abstract sumbission and hotel booking.
